Text on card: Western Skinks are among the most secretive, elusive lizards in the west. They burrow quite effectively and are very agile to escape from predators.
When threatened by predators, they usually retreat and might shed their electric blue tails in an effort to escape. The tail grows back duller in color and misshapen. Females are especially fierce when defending their eggs.
